What is Reflexology?

Reflexology is a particular form of massage in which the therapist works with fingers and thumbs on reflex areas found in the feet. Since each of these reflex areas correspond to a distinct part of the body, it is possible to treat specific areas of the body.

Most people find reflexology a valuable form of relaxation, and as well as being an effective means of maintaining overall good health and preventing illness, it is a potent remedy for the following:

  • Digestive disorders, e.g.:
    • Irritable Bowel Syndrome
    • Constipation
  • Stress, depression and anxiety
  • Insomnia
  • M.E.
  • Headaches and migraine
  • Back pain
  • Hormonal disorders, e.g.
    • Menstrual problems,
    • Menopause,
    • Thyroid imbalances
  • pregnancy related conditions, e.g.:
    • Back pain
    • Morning sickness
    • Fluid retention
    • Constipation
