Reflexology can be very helpful in managing both stress and anxiety. As well as using reflexology as a means of doing this directly, many clients have found that I have been able to give useful advice regarding ways in which they can manage their stress and anxiety more effectively
 
In February 2014, I attended a workshop on Understanding and Managing Anxiety, and since then have continued wider reading on this area. Whilst the workshop title implies a focus on anxiety, it also addressed stress in considerable depth. This included:
  • understanding the role of stress and anxiety in our lives
  • differentiating between normal anxiety and anxiety disorders
  • simple techniques to control stress and anxiety designed to be used with clients.
